These updates are aimed at improving the experience for our distributors, especially those operating within Canada. This release focuses on introducing new features that address specific needs such as handling Canadian taxes more efficiently, adding custom text or HTML to invoices, and improving inventory management. Additionally, we have made significant strides in optimizing our app's performance and user interface, including the integration with Sage Connect and adjustments to credit card processing fees. Here's what's new and improved in our latest release:

🎁 New Features and Improvements:

  • Ability to Add Custom Text or HTML to Bottom of Invoices:
    • Distributors now display terms and conditions at the bottom of their invoices by adding HTML input to the store builder configuration > Invoice section.
  • Handling Canadian Tax in App:
    • Updated the tax calculation logic to support Canadian tax rates based on province, improving accuracy for Canadian distributors.
  • Validate Access to Store by Customer Email Address:
    • Introduced a feature allowing distributors to create redemption stores where customers can validate access and sign in with just an email address, enhancing security and user experience.
  • Add Copy Link Option to App Product View:
    • A new share icon has been added, enabling users to copy links to view products in the app or a selected store, facilitating easier sharing.
  • Ability to Include Tax on Shipping:
    • Canadian distributors can now charge tax that includes shipping costs, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
  • Product Search Enhancements:
    • Improved the products list's speed and efficiency in the store builder.
  • Preserve Customer or Order Tab That Was Last Visited:
    • The platform now remembers which customer or order tab was last visited, improving navigation efficiency.
  • 3rd Party Shipping Account Number:
    • Added functionality to hard code a shipping account name and number for stores that want to ship on a 3rd party account.
  • Sage Connect Integration:
    • Integrated with SAGE Connect, allowing distributors to access and filter products more efficiently.
  • Credit Card Processing Fees:
    • Enabled distributors to include a credit card processing fee with payments to cover processing fees.
